• Lesson Structure

  • Lessons are a $200 monthly tuition. This reserves a specific, set, weekly time with the instructor and horse.

    • You are purchasing a block of time within an instructor’s schedule.

    • You ARE NOT purchasing lesson voucher to be redeemed at times other then your set time.

  • Lesson tuition must be paid prior to first lesson of month, or time block will be offered to riders on the waiting list.

  • The monthly tuition equals 4-5 lessons/month, depending on your set day and time.

  • This averages out to $40-$50/lesson, a significant discount from the $60 individual lesson rate.

  • We ride year round in our covered arena, regardless of weather, ground lessons will be taught in stormy weather

  • We are closed New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.

  • One makeup voucher can be obtained after 3 months of consecutive lessons to be used at the instructors designated makeup day for the quarter. Treat voucher like cash.

  • New lessons begin as “private lessons” with a 1:1 student teacher ratio, and consists of 30 minutes of riding time.

  • Students who behave responsibly may be offered opportunities to assist with grooming, tacking, and horse care outside of their lesson time. Ask your instructor.

  • As the students progress and the instructor approves, the student will be offered to move into semi-private or group

    • semi-private - 45 minutes 2-3 students per 1 instructor

    • group - 60 minutes 4-6 students per 1 instructor

  • We offer quarterly horse shows for the students ready. The purpose is to give a goal to work toward, experience in a different riding environment, teach sportsmanship, and HAVE FUN.

• FIRST LESSON

  • Call and schedule your first lesson/appointment…no walk ups. please.

  • Send payment to your instructor through VENMO before first lesson of month. 

  • One vehicle per family, no parking on street.

  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment, wear boots and long pants.

  • Park by fence, and enter at designated visitor gate, go to arena waiting area.

  • Print RELEASE SHEET, Read carefully, fill out, bring to first lesson.

• POLICIES

  • You are purchasing a monthly tuition of an instructors time. We offer 1 quarterly makeup lessons for riders who give 24 hours notice prior to a missed lesson time. It takes your instructor hours to prepared for lessons, and some of our instructors come from over an hour away to teach.

  • The quarterly makeup day will be decided by the instructor, and will likely be a weekend day.

  • Riding lessons must be paid prior to first lesson of month. If no payment received, the space will be offered up to riders on the waiting list.

  • We hold activities regardless of weather, we teach ground lessons when unsafe to ride.

  • If a rider is late to a lesson, they will be able to ride the remaining portion of their lesson time and not beyond.
